Improve AI results with better context: Seeking Design Partners

The true bottleneck for enterprise AI isn't the models themselves, but a lack of context - authoritative metric definitions, table relationships, and data meaning. Currently, this information is siloed across various systems, inhibiting AI production. Fivetran is uniquely equipped to solve this issue. We are seeking Design Partners to collaborate on testing and refining our new AI business context solution. If you’re interested in participating, contact us at beta@fivetran.com.

Expanded support for Db2 across the enterprise

IBM Db2 systems are critical pieces of data infrastructure for many large organizations. Fivetran has released additional fully-managed connectors for Db2 z/OS and Db2 LUW to easily replicate data from these systems. This complements Fivetran’s support for Db2 i connector and expands the breadth of our Db2 offerings. Learn more here.

Strengthen security with External Secrets Manager

New External Secrets Manager support enables you to extend your existing secrets management service directly to your connectors in the Fivetran platform. Currently in private preview, please reply to this email if you’re interested in adopting the external secrets manager. Learn more here

Reduce the burden of custom connector maintenance

Our new Connector SDK Maintenance Service helps keep your custom Connector SDK integrations running smoothly without tying up your engineering team. Available as an optional annual add-on, this service transfers ongoing connector maintenance, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and updates for source API changes, to our team, helping ensure reliable data delivery while reducing operational overhead.

Build custom connectors faster with new Coding Agent plugins

New Coding Agent plugins for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and GitHub Copilot are now available in beta and free of charge through our GitHub repository. These plugins give AI coding agents Fivetran-specific knowledge to help you build production-ready custom connectors with the Connector SDK more quickly, accurately, and with less manual effort.

New standard connectors and improvements

Set up any new connector and enjoy a free historical sync along with a 14-day connector trial to explore its full capabilities. Connectors in private preview are completely free to use while in this release stage. We also highlight some critical improvements made to connectors.

New Lite connectors

Lite connectors have an accelerated development cycle built for specific use cases. Learn more about lite connectors in the docs and see all available lite connectors in the connector directory.
