New releases

Give AI agents trusted business context with Agents Schema

This new open standard creates a shared, discoverable context layer in your warehouse or lake, giving agents access to governed metrics, semantic models, lineage, and documentation before they answer questions, write SQL or take action. Context lives in plain SQL tables, so it remains portable across AI tools and runtimes, instead of being locked inside a single platform. Learn more.

Use Write Credentials to update or delete data in your Managed Data Lake

If you’re a Fivetran Managed Data Lake Service user, there are certain scenarios where you may need to update or delete records or drop entire tables from your lake. For example, you may want to remove old tables that no longer exist in your source systems or delete specific customer records to meet GDPR or other regulatory requirements.

The new Write Credentials functionality provides a new set of credentials with write permissions for accessing the data stored in your Fivetran Managed Data Lake Service, allowing you to execute DDL and DML operations to update or delete data. You can learn more about how to use this feature, along with important caveats, in this blog post.

Improve AI results with better context: Early access available

The true bottleneck for enterprise AI isn't the models themselves, but a lack of context - authoritative metric definitions, table relationships, and data meaning. Currently, this information is siloed across various systems, inhibiting AI production. Fivetran is uniquely equipped to solve this issue. Contact us at beta@fivetran.com if you are interested in gaining early access to Fivetran Context Layer.
