Build new connectors in minutes with the AI Connector Agent

Need to ingest data from a source that doesn’t have a Fivetran connector? AI Connector Agent, now in Beta, helps you create custom connectors in minutes — without writing a single line of code. Simply provide the documentation for a REST API endpoint in the Fivetran UI, and AI Connector Agent automatically generates and configures a pipeline to move data from your source to your destination. No-trigger replication is now available across all SAP ERP connections

No-trigger replication is now fully rolled out across all SAP ERP connection methods, giving you more flexibility in how deletion detection is handled. You can continue using triggers or opt out and run replication without them. Whether you're looking to simplify your configuration or reduce load on your SAP environment, this change gives you the control to choose the approach that best fits your needs.

Enable soft delete handling for full re-import tables with Connector SDK

The Connector SDK now supports the new truncate operation, making it easier to replicate sources that only return active records and don’t expose delete events. With this enhancement, you can accurately handle record removals while maintaining a complete and reliable dataset. The feature also introduces a transaction-style sync model, ensuring that all changes between checkpoints either fully commit or roll back together — making connector development more predictable, resilient, and easier to manage. Prevent unexpected schema changes with data type locking for Connector SDK

Data Type Locking is now available for Connector SDK. This feature gives you greater control over schema evolution by locking column data types after the initial sync and preventing automatic data type changes from being applied during future syncs. By reducing unexpected downstream impacts, data type locking helps ensure greater consistency, reliability, and confidence in your data pipelines. Learn more here. 

Standardize AI agent context with Agents Schema

Agents Schema is a new open-source standard that designates a schema in your data warehouse as the shared context layer for AI agents. By defining agent context directly alongside your data, you can leverage existing governance and permissions while avoiding vendor lock-in or proprietary formats. Built in the spirit of Open Data Infrastructure, Agents Schema provides a flexible, interoperable foundation for building more effective and trustworthy AI agents. Learn more here.

Now available for all dbt users — across dbt Core and Fusion, whether deployed locally, self-hosted, or on the dbt platform — dbt State helps you build only what has changed by caching model and source state. Start loading data into MotherDuck with Fivetran — Now Generally Available

You can now load data directly into MotherDuck with Fivetran’s Partner SDK destination. Built and maintained by the MotherDuck team, this destination provides the same seamless experience you expect from Fivetran while giving you direct access to MotherDuck’s fast, scalable platform. By combining Fivetran’s automated data movement with MotherDuck, you can simplify data access, reduce operational overhead, and accelerate the delivery of trusted data for real-time insights. New standard connectors and improvements

Set up any new connector and enjoy a free historical sync along with a 14-day connector trial to explore its full capabilities. Connectors in private preview are completely free to use while in this release stage. We also highlight some critical improvements made to connectors.

• Unstructured File Replication is now supported for Veeva Vault, Jira, and Zendesk
• Supabase and Neon are now available as sources - Connect both platforms using Fivetran’s PostgreSQL connector
