Every month we send out a customer newsletter highlighting product and connector releases. Below you'll find the full product update for the month, which includes additional content that didn't make the email. New releases
Look under the hood at the live performance benchmarking data for Fivetran data pipelines
With fast throughput and low latency, Fivetran can replicate from large database volumes quickly and efficiently. We built this benchmark to showcase our performance loading from common OLTP relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL. We use TPROC-C to benchmark and highlight our ability to ingest data from heavily loaded relational databases.
Support for Google Cloud Storage data lake destination
Fivetran Managed Data Lake Service now supports Google Cloud Storage (GCS) as a data lake destination in private preview. Choose between Iceberg and Delta Lake table formats, take advantage of Fivetran’s hosted Iceberg catalog, and streamline your data lake management. We’ll be offering up to three months of free usage for certain customers. Email beta@fivetran.com to learn more.
Configure Iceberg and Delta Lake tables simultaneously
Managing both Iceberg and Delta Lake tables just got easier. With dual format support, a single setup form allows you to configure Iceberg and Delta Lake tables simultaneously. Now available for AWS S3 and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
Fivetran-hosted dbt Core and Quickstart data models in GA
Fivetran Transformations moves into GA with exciting updates including user-defined dbt jobs for simplified pipeline management, enhanced scheduling options (cron and Hybrid Deployment), and expanded multi-connector data models (including a GenAI-Ready Data Model for AI-driven insights).
New standard connectors and connector improvements
Set up any new connector and enjoy a free historical sync along with a 14-day connector trial to explore its full capabilities. Connectors in private preview are completely free to use while in this release stage. We also highlight some critical improvements made to connectors.
- EHR connector (private preview) – Securely move data from sources like Epic’s Clarity while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, anonymizing sensitive tables and columns during syncs. Email beta@fivetran.com if you’re interested in testing.
- SAP OData connector (private preview) – Move data from SAP's OData API – SAP’s recommended interface for external data transfer for a whole range of SAP systems – and set up CDC on SAP CDS views. Email beta@fivetran.com if you’re interested in testing.
- We added Hybrid Deployment support for Db2 for i series - see the full list of supported sources here.
