How Hybrid Deployment works

Hybrid Deployment allows you to use Fivetran’s control plane while keeping the data plane within your environment. A lightweight local agent installed in your environment handles data pipeline processing, while configuration and monitoring are done through the Fivetran dashboard or API. Only logistical metadata (MAR and agent registration information) and logs are shared with Fivetran, ensuring that no customer or sensitive data is ever shared with our platform or leaves your network.
