We’ve seen our product help a myriad of businesses, especially startups, grow by solving countless problems they faced with data. For example, Yardzen, an online landscape design firm, uses Fivetran to build worry-free data pipelines that enable the business to quickly centralize its data and draw insights from mission-critical dashboards. Our product has given its leadership team more confidence in making accurate financial decisions while maximizing results with fewer data engineering resources.

Having been a startup once ourselves, we want to help our smaller customers like Yardzen leverage data to drive more business efficiency, especially in today’s challenging economic conditions. Starting February 1, 2023, we’re introducing a Free Plan and reducing our prices by 11 percent for all current pay-as-you-go (PAYG) customers. This means hundreds of existing customers on the Standard Select Plan will automatically be migrated to the Free Plan, and thousands of PAYG customers will see lower prices. Although Fivetran's revenue is adversely impacted in the next year to support these changes, we’re excited to make this investment in our customers to help them grow and become data-forward.

How to sign up for Fivetran’s Free Plan

First, sign up for a free trial. After 7 days, you’ll get a usage estimate. If this is below 500,000 MAR, then you’re welcome to select our Free Plan without entering a credit card.

After you exceed the 500,000 MAR limit, you can upgrade to a paid plan to continue using Fivetran. We will also provide a one-month grace period to support this upgrade, so you have ample time to make a decision and won’t see any surprise bills.

What’s more? 11 percent price reduction for PAYG customers

All new and current pay-as-you-go customers will access new, lower pricing starting February 1st. Current annual contract customers will see no change to their pricing or renewal contracts.

With 11 percent savings, we hope our monthly, pay-as-you-go customers can feel a little budget relief (and possibly less heat from your CFO!). But most importantly, as new data problems come your way, we hope this removes financial barriers from connecting new sources or tables that are important to the growth of your business.
