At Fivetran, we recognize that data is the lifeblood of your business. You need access to it quickly and reliably, with as little effort as possible, so you can focus on things that matter to the business.
Security concerns about data crossing borders, even if only temporarily, should not stop your data projects from moving forward or limit what data you have access to.
This is why we’re excited to announce that Fivetran is now available in Canada and United Kingdom.
While most businesses cross borders their data have shouldn’t have to just so they can analyze it. Data regulations vary based on the region, the type of data you’re dealing with, and whose data you might be managing.
For those businesses based in the U.K. and Canada, managing data complexity is already a full time job without needing to worry about data localisation requirements.
This was the motivation in our latest offering. We want to make it easy for you to determine the location that Fivetran will operate and run jobs to process your data before loading into the final destination for analysis.
With the ability to set your preferred region, British and Canadian Fivetran customers will be able to keep up with both internal and external security and local regulation requirements while enjoying the benefits of automated data integration that saves data teams valuable time to focus on what matters.
Setup is easy
To get started, data managers just need to take the simple step of selecting your data preferred processing location when setting up your first connector and your account will be set to that region for all future connectors.
If you need to change your region at a later date, you simply need to edit connection details in your Fivetran dashboard.
